It is hard to believe, but 60 years, ‘almost a lifetime’, has passed since the US Army Airforce in Roswell announced to the world that they had captured a ‘flying saucer’ on a ranch, 70 miles outside the the town. Many believe the next step was to cover up this amazing incident and the military did just that.

 

It would be 30 years before ‘The Roswell UFO Crash’ once again hit the news.

 

 

      "As time goes on, there are fewer and fewer of us first-hand witnesses still alive. The Roswell event happened nearly 60 years ago, which is hard for me to believe, but the calendar does not lie. With this account, I have written about the Roswell incident from a very personal viewpoint. This is written as seen through my eyes and what influence this has had on the way I have lived my life, looking at it through a Roswell prism. I have never altered my story. The symbols, debris and so forth have never changed, but the government’s cover-up seems to change with the seasons. I am merely standing in for my father when it comes to my depictions and memories of Roswell."

Many of the original characters have passed on and even now, after all this time, what proof is there that anything other than an experimental balloon crashed to Earth?

 

In 1947, base intelligence officer, Major Jesse Marcel, inves­tigated the report on behalf of the base and, on his way back from the crash site, called home and showed his wife and 11-year old son, Jesse Jr., sam­ples of the wreckage he was taking back to his base.

 

There is only one person alive today who can tell you what was laid out on the kitchen table that night in 1947:

Kevin Randle was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, grew up in Denver, Colorado and entered the Army in Texas. He learned to fly helicopters, had a tour in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and then left active duty for college.


He attended the University of Iowa and upon graduation was commissioned into the Air Force Reserve.


Randle spent most of his Air Force career as an intelligence officer. In 1986, he was released into the inactive reserve.


Randle became interested in UFOs as a teenager and continued his studies after joining the Army. He served as a field investigator for APRO, was one of the first to investigate cattle mutilations and was the
first to report an alien abduction from inside a home. His most important work has been in the Roswell UFO crash case.

Popular German researcher and broadcaster, Michael Hesemann, returns to the UK after several years’ absence to present his findings from the events of Roswell in 1947.

 

 

Having recently left the MOD, Nick is still a great believer in this subject and his lectures are always educational, objective and professionally delivered.

 

 

 


Another interesting presentation guaranteed. SPI founder Malcolm Robinson is a great storyteller and his lectures are both entertaining and educational. Not to be missed.

 

 

The conference weekend will be hosted this year by UFO DATA’s Philip Mantle and Russel Callaghan will be sharing footage and images that pass the magazine’s way...

The new Conference Venue is The Parkside Hotel, Pontefract. This is a purpose designed country hotel complex situated alongside Pontefract Racecourse.

It is just a few hundred yards from Junction 42 M62 with ample free parking. The venue has limited rooms available but we also recommend the Tulip Hotel Castelford which is again just a few yards off the Motorway Junction. There is a regular bus service from Castelford bus station and railway station Pontefract Tanshelf Station is a 10 minute walk from the venue but there are no serv­ices from the station on a Sunday.
